Free adult social networks are everywhere these days. Seems that every time you turn around, there is another adult social network. So, after some member being told they were offensive, that member starts looking for a social network where they need not worry over such things. I know what you are thinking – yeah but there are only perverts on adult social networks! As the owner of a small adult social network, let me be the first to tell you, that just is not the case. In fact yes, there are perverts with profiles on adult social networks. HELLO! Those same perverts are on mainstream social networks as well.

Let me write here for you what really goes on, on adult social networks. The full uncensored truth. You have escorts, chat hosts & others working in the adult sex industry looking to sell their services. People interested in some kind of alternative sexual habits, be it couples looking for a male or female for threesomes, couples that are swingers and so on. On the other hand, you have people that are not so much into alternative sexual habits. But enjoy going nude out in nature. Or, people who enjoy, having discussions on topics of a sexual nature, telling dirty jokes. Photographers, artists, writers and so on that like to share adult themed works of a pornographic and nonpornagraphic nature. This all just goes back to what I typed above. Remember, Michelangelo’s “David” is a statue of a nude male. Yet Michelangelo later painted the Sistine Chapel ceiling. This in a time when a woman would dare not wear a tank-top shirt or a bikini to the beach. So, was he a perv. For doing David?

Adult social networks are mostly about freedom. Freedom to be yourself, say what you like (within reason of course). I have known normal, rational, fun people that met a special someone and started a relationship.  Just like on main stream social networks.

Not all adult social networks are the same.  There are free and paid membership ones. Which is better? A growing crisis and concern, caring for elder adults is unlike child care.  Where as the dependency of children decreases over time, with an aging parent, it will increase.  Many of us have successfully raised our children and maintained excellent work records.  Our sons and daughters suffering only minimal scars of our leaving them alone and in the care of others.  Through all of this, we usually had the joy of watching them progress, and learn, becoming more responsible and reliable.  If we did it right, they are taking care of their business, and achieving more than we could ever dream of.  As the primary care giver, we feel successful, and believe the loss of sleep has well been worth it.

The same cannot be said when the object of your caregiving is a parent.  There are few options available for unbiased help.  Feelings of guilt, shame, embarrassment often accompany elder care giving.  The sleepless nights are constant, and the knowledge that this is not going to get better takes a major emotional toll on the entire family.  If there are multiple siblings, everyone has a lot of opinions, but few have solution.  Add the workplace stress, and current economic downturn and this becomes a recipe for disaster. Caught between being the child yourself and having children of your own, family dynamics become a major source of pain.  What is the solution?

I am constantly surprised by the response of so many individuals when presented with the question “what are you going to do in the future?” Most respond with an attitude of I will deal with it when the time comes.  Unfortunately, that is usually a highly emotionally charged crisis, and normally the result of a physical injury such as a fall, wandering, or burns.  The adult child is now faced with the emotional pain of having neglected the obvious decline in their parent, and has only days to decide what can or should be done for the future of the parent.  Far too many will just bring them home.  Not realizing that they do not have the resources available to adequately take care of the parent.  More importantly, they are unaware of the changes that will take place and the resources available to them. 

The solution is to be up front early on.  Regardless of what mom and dad say, they will need help in the future.  Regardless of what you believe you are capable of, you will need expert help in the future.  Learning as much as you can before you need the information can mean the difference between living a miserable existence in anger and resentment, or loving the later years of your parents life,  connecting with them in dignity and love. 

It has only been in the last few decades that so many people have lived so long.  The average was 70, now it is 80+.  Physically, mentally and emotionally there is a need to maintain activity and engagement.  When you begin your research on the aging process, do not turn a blind eye.  Try to become an observer, and really practice taking your self out of the child role, and create a partnership of equals. Participate in seminars, usually free, that cover a variety of topics.  By broadening your knowledge base, you will not find out after the fact.  If I had only known is repeated thousands of times a day, by caregivers and family members.  Do not wait for Crisis to happen, before you begin learning. Star Wars Legos are the greatest thing according to my 10 year old son. He has been building legos since he was about 5 and he has built the cars, the Bionicles and the other action sets but Star Wars Lego Sets are by far his favorite.

There are many Star Wars Legos to chose from, you can either be a good guy or join the Dark Side. He started out building some of the more basic Star Wars Lego Sets and is always looking for the next challenge. Every time we go to Target or WalMart we have to check and see if there is a new Star Wars Legos Set out.

Star Wars Legos come in sets as low as $10 up to hundreds of dollars. While the smaller Star Wars Lego Sets are relatively easy to build, usually having only a few bags of parts, some of the bigger Star Wars Legos have many bags of parts and several assembly manuals. On thing we found out the hard way, is the parts bags are usually logically grouped so that similar parts for a particular assembly portion are grouped together. Now when he builds a Star Wars Lego set, he puts each bag into a small bowl rather than dumping them all together in one big bowl.

The biggest Star Wars Lego Sets he has built so far must have had 400 pieces. I know it ran around $50 or so and kept him busy for several nights. Every so often he would come over and show me how some part went together and what it could do. One of my favorite Star Wars Lego Sets he built is one of the walkers (sorry, Star Wars fans, I know it’s called something more complex than that). It was kind of hard to build because so many of the pieces were gray. It looks really cool on display.

One thing I have noticed about Star Wars Legos, and it probably holds true with any Legos set, is my son always wants to see what “guys” come with the kit. Some of the Star Wars Legos kits come with 4 or 5 guys. Very important in the Lego world.

One day when I thought we had bought all the Star Wars Lego Sets, I went on line to see what is available. Wow!! That’s where I found out just how big some of the Star Wars Legos can be. You can even build the Death Star, if you can afford it and you have the patience. My son insists that he will buy it someday.

As for “guys”, you can actually buy Star Wars Lego Kits of actual characters like Darth Vader, very cool.

I have always like Legos and all though I am not a Star Wars fan, I really like the fact that my son spends hours building them and is proud to display them. Besides, there is much more to life than video games. Oh yeah, you can get a Star Wars Legos video game to!

My hair is now 2 colors, blond and light brown. Since I got pregnant my hair has come in a much darker blonde

and there is an obvious growth line. I am not opposed to the new color, but what should I do to make it look more natural now? Match the new color and dye my hair all the new darker blonde or add lighter blonde highlights to the darker roots to blend it a bit? Thanks in advance!

well, it depends on which color you like best. Either one you like go and use that as a highlight (or lowlight) and that should help even things out without going crazy.
