Where do you think would be cheaper to buy cake decorations Micheal’s or Party City?
I’m baking two cakes one needs fondant and one needs food coloring, glitter.
I didn’t see fondant in my local Party City. Michael’s has coupons most weeks so you can get it at a reasonable price and then save a little more. AC Moore would be the other place to comparison shop for fondant. I find them to be less expensive. They also have coupons.
Michael’s will give you the supplies to make different party items. But sometimes when you buy all the pieces and take the time to make them you come out cheaper buying them already made.
Party City has premade items as well as supplies to make things. I found it cheaper for my grandson’s baby shower to purchase items from them and others name brand items from the dollar store. They both had glitter and food coloring for around the same price. I did buy name brand food coloring in the dollar store. Since we are all trying to conserve energy where you can get the better price for the fondant should determine where you buy everything if it will allow you to make one stop,
